Hosted by Anna's Cool Finds, here are the deets: Create and post an entry on your blog which highlights a food or drink, or food/drink product, or recipe which highlights terroir in your location which you can write about with a personal perspective including a photo. Describe how it relates to your locale. Thought joggers include a special food only served at an annual event - like a fair, foods produced from ingredients from a particular farm, a restaurant with an unique local dish, an antique recipe from your area. NOW UNTIL JANUARY 22nd - Waiter There's Something In My... Stew. New for '07 blog event run across Cooksister, Passionate Cook and on SpittoonExtra. I have the uncontrolled joy of announcing and hosting the first theme. It is going to be 'stews'. Yep, that simple and, as is the intention with Waiter There's Something In My, all inclusive. What is required is your take on the humble stew - a local speciality or something traditional, something seasonal perhaps, something new and adventurous or a tried and tasted recipe, created with love and devoured with passion. It is the perfect time of year, in the Northern Hempisphere at least, for warming, slow cooked, hearty food. Please email the URL of your entry by the 22nd January, include your blog's name, the name of the dish and your location to appear in the 'near the end of the month' write-up.
